Situation
Caromb is a small
rural village of 3000 inhabitants, at an altitude of 180 metres, located on one
of the foothills of Mount Ventoux. Caromb has developed rich and diversified
agriculture (corn, grain, olive trees, vineyards and fruit trees).
Since 1960, its
reputation in the agricultural world has extended beyond its borders as it has
become the “worldwide capital for the production of young vines”
Caromb is centrally
situated, halfway between Mount Ventoux and the
Dentelles de Montmirail.
Only 10 km from
Carpentras, lovers of architecture and history will enjoy a remarkable heritage
or towns such as Avignon, Orange,
Vaison la Romaine and
l’Isle sur la
Sorgue,
all within an area of 25 km.
Welcoming and hospitable to visitors, Caromb has remained an authentic Provencal village.
